Mark Verrall, Managing Director, Hong Kong Office

Mark Verrall is the Managing Director for MRI China Group’s Hong Kong office. He is responsible for operational performance and delivery of quality recruitment services in the Hong Kong office. Mark has 14 years experience in training, sales, business and staff management. Originally from Australia, he has spent the last 11 years in Asia.

Since January 2000, Mark has worked in search recruitment running a regional desk specialising in risk in consumer banking, placing candidates in 16 different geographical locations around the world. He became director and co-owner of a Sydney-based recruitment firm before joining MRI Corporate in mid-2004, consulting with Asia/Pacific offices n the region, experiencing directly issues faced by consultants and businesses in each location.

Previously Mark was with the National Panasonic in Osaka, as co-ordinator with the Education and Training Department, running a team of over 40 trainers serving Nat/Pan offices and manufacturing centres across Japan.

Mark graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Economics from Flinders University in South Australia, with a double majoring Politics.
