Greg Langford, Managing Director, Southeast Asia

Greg is the Managing Director - South East Asia operations for the MRI China Group based in Singapore.  He is also responsible for the group wide Performance Development for the organisation.

His extensive professional experience includes Recruitment, Consulting, Management, Training, Business Development and Research and Development.  His roles have taken him throughout the world and he has extensive experience in the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to his current role Greg held a position as an internal business consultant for the Asia Pacific region supporting 16 offices of the MRINetwork.  He was responsible for providing specialist advice, business review and training development. Countries supported include Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.

Including the above, Greg has a total of 14 years experience in recruitment consulting. This experience included nine years Hudson both Australia and Singapore and two years with Labstaff, a specialist in scientific recruitment.  His experience in the recruitment industry has covered management of operations, permanent and contract recruitment, the establishment of new operations and training, both in-house and external.  Over the years, he has handled a broad range of assignments ranging from Regional MD’s to functional roles and assisting clients to build start-up operations.

His rich experience outside of recruitment covered Training, Education, Mining and Petroleum exploration, Pharmaceutical research, Environmental science and International Aid.  He has worked in the Asia for a total of 10 years based in both Indonesia and Singapore.

Greg has a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Master of Science from University of Adelaide.  In addition, he has a Graduate Diploma in Education.
