MRI China Group wins CCH China STAFF "Recruitment Firm of the Year, China" award once again!

Beijing, China; 4th December 2009 – The MRI China Group, one of the leading and fastest growing executive search and recruitment solutions firms in Asia, has been awarded the prestigious CCH China STAFF Recruitment Firm of the Year Award.  MRI China Group had previously won the award in 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007 and was runner up in 2004 and 2008.  The honor once again reflects the MRI China Group’s position as the undisputed leader in recruitment in China.

The award was received on behalf of MRI China Group by Chris Watkins, China Country Manager, MRI China Group, at the 12th Annual China STAFF HR Awards ceremony attended by about 200 top HR professionals and senior managers from some of the most prominent multinational companies in China.  Twelve companies, most of which were major international recruitment firms, were nominated for the award.

The panel of judges comprised a group of senior human resource executives, including Mr. Deng Tao, HR Director for Google China, familiar with the talent challenges faced by organizations in the current, challenging economic environment.  The firms’ track record, leadership, innovative talent solutions and corporate social responsibility (CSR) were among the criteria used to judge the finalists.

Deng, who announced the award, listed the following reasons why the MRI China Group won, and how the company differentiated itself in a highly competitive industry:

1. The MRI China Group was able to demonstrate the value of the candidates it placed through a “Return on Investment” (ROI) Analysis that is completed after the first year of the candidates’ tenure with the new company.  This self-developed benchmarking tool provides HR and Line managers with a quantitative, objective measure of the value of the recruitment services provided by MRI China Group.
2. MRI demonstrated a strategic partnership approach with its key clients through an intensive key account program that emphasizes the “employer brand” presentation to the candidate population.  This bottom up approach to “employer branding” remains an unparalleled offering today.
3. The Talent Market Intelligence solution offers clients an unprecedented insight into the market for talent with significant strategic value.

“The standard of service and solutions we provide is recognized and respected in China as being a clear differentiating point from the competition.  Our teams work tirelessly to develop and deliver innovative recruitment and related solutions that more than meet our clients’ requirements,” remarked Watkins.

MRI China Group, led by Tony Dickel, its founder and CEO, has been evolving itself in the past decade to ensure that it remains ahead of its competitors and a thought leader in recruitment in China. “When I started this business in 1998, I hoped to build a world-class organization where our teams would have unlimited career opportunities and that we would become the “employer of choice” in China and Asia in our industry.   Whilst there is still much work to be done, we are inching ever closer to this vision.  We are now able to offer choices in careers across the spectrum of search, recruitment solutions, training and leadership development as we strive to be the unquestioned “employer of choice” in the recruitment and related solutions market.  To have won this award 5 of the last 7 years, and especially in this very trying year, is a testament to the people that have helped build the organization from a one person office in 1998 to the leader in Executive Search and Recruitment Solutions in China and the region in 2009.”
