Hong Kong; 2nd July 2008 –The MRI China Group, a leading executive search firm in Asia today announces the appointment of Greg Langford as Managing Director for its Southeast Asia operations, based in Singapore. In his new role, Langford will assume responsibility of the Group’s Performance Development Business. At the same time, he is tasked to grow the Group’s Southeast Asia operations in Singapore and Malaysia as well as in emerging economies such as Vietnam and Indonesia.
Langford was previously the Business Consultant for the MRINetwork Asia Pacific Office in Singapore supporting 16 offices in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea. He had been fully instrumental to expanding the MRINetwork’s Asia Pacific business by providing services in specialist consultancy, business review, audit, recommendations and training development.
Langford possesses ten years of experience in all aspects of recruitment in permanent and contract positions, including executive search and advertised search and selection. Prior to joining MRI, Langford had been employed by Morgan & Banks, TMP Worldwide eResourcing and Hudson’s IT division in Australia and Singapore
Langford has a strong academic background in Organic Chemistry. He started his career in the recruitment industry in 1993. Since then, he has amassed an extensive range of professional capabilities in Research and Development, Business Development, Management, Training and Recruitment. Furthermore, he has obtained in-depth exposure in Education, Mining, Petroleum, Pharmaceutical, Environmental and International Aid fields.
