Taipei, Taiwan: 21st May 2008 - MRI China Group, one of the leading and fastest growing recruitment consultancies in Asia today announced that the MRI Taiwan Office has been awarded “Outstanding Partner” by Taiwan-based TSMC, the world’s largest dedicated semi-conductor foundry.
Mr Tony Dickel, CEO, MRI China Group received the award on behalf of MRI Taiwan office from Mr P.H. Chang, Vice President, Human Resources Organisation, TSMC at the award ceremony held on April 25, 2008 at TSMC headquarters in Hsinchu Science Park. MRI China was the winner among 30 recruitment firms that partner with TSMC.
MRI Taiwan was rated the winner, based on its performance with TSMC for the last two years. A survey was conducted among TSMC HR managers and directors to rate their recruitment partners based on the following criteria:
Understanding of TSMC – include knowledge of TSMC business, industry, culture and organisation;
Professionalism and Specialised area -- include recruitment interaction process, and level of service and support;
Sourcing capability – include quality of candidates and scope of search to include global and regional areas;
Delivery cycle time – short cycle time.
During the ceremony, Mr Dickel shared his views on “Emerging Megatrends in Talent Acquisition in Asia” with the delegates, involving more than 40 HR managers of TSMC. Mr Dickel provided information on MRI China Group expansion which included the establishment of two data and research centres in Manila and Chengdu to support the growing talent sourcing needs of the company. He also helped to provide a wide perspective on “Talent Acquisition” by showing the delegates how to think “Out of the Box” to solve talent crisis issues.
